16-Aug, Final:
Home Double in KL

Nafiizwan Adnan and Delia Arnold made it a double home celebration in Kuala Lumpur's National Squash Centre as both beat Hong Kong opponents in the finals to claim the latest NSC series titles.

Adnan, seeded two, recovered from a game down to beat qualifier Wong Wai Hang while Arnold, the 22-year-old sixth seed, scored her best ever victory in beating top seed Rebecca Chiu, the world number 14, also coming from a game down.

The win marks Arnold's third WISPA title, and a fourth PSA title for Adnan, all won in the NSC series events.

15-Aug, Semis:
It's Hong Kong v Malaysia in KL

Both finals of the latest NSC event in Kuala Lumpur's National Squash Centre will be between players from Hong Kong and hosts Malaysia.

Wong Wai Hang, the many-time HK champion, won the battle of the qualifiers as he overcame Malaysian youngster Ivan Yuen in four games, and faces another home challenge in the final after second seed Nafiizwan Adnan beat Asyraf Adnan, who had defeated the younger of the Adnan brothers in the quarter-finals.

In the women's event top seed Rebecca Chiu continued to display fine form as she beat third seed Donna Urquhart for the loss of one game, and in the final meets Delia Arnold, the home favourite who overcame Hong Kong junior Joey Chan in three close games.

14-Aug, Quarters:
Seeds scattered in KL

The latest NSC event has seen seeded players scattered to the wind in Kuala Lumpur.

In the men's $10k event only one seed remains, with second seed Nafiizwan Adnan winning through to the semis as his opponent retired injured when leading in the third game.

His semi-final opponent is compatriot Asyraf Azan who followed up his first-round dismissal of third seed Mike Corren with a five-game win over the younger of the Adnan brothers, Nafzahizam, the seventh seed.

The other semi-final will be contested by two qualifiers. Malaysia's top junior Ivan Yuen, who ousted top seed Ryan Cuskelly in the first round, continued his run with a straight-games win over unseeded Choong Kam Hing.

Yuen will meet fellow qualifier Wong Wai Hang after the Hong Kong number two came from two games down for the second day in a row - both times against higher-seeded compatriots!

The culling of the seeds has been less dramatic in the $12k women's draw, with top seed Rebecca Chiu and Donna Urguhart, seeded three, set to meet for a place in the final.

The other semi-final pitches two giant-killing youngsters together - Hong Kong's Joey Chan beat third seed Amelia Pittock while Malaysia's own Delia Arnold went one better as she took out second seed Sharon Wee in straight games.
