Borja bags Montreal title

Top seed Borja Golan beat Daryl Selby 3-2 in a thrilling climax to the Open de Montreal at the Montreal Arena.

After dropping the first game the Spaniard roared back to take the next two games comfortably, but Selby forced a decider with an extra-points win in the fourth.

Golan regrouped to take the fifth, collecting his 29th PSA title in the process.

"Good match against @DarylSelby to win the Montreal Open. Very happy :)" tweeted Golan.

"Gutted to lose tonight but gave it everything as always. Didn't expect too much coming in so to make another final is a bonus," said Selby.

"Congrats to @golansquash for winning the title. What a great tournament, thanks everyone, see you next year!" concluded the Englishman.
