05-Nov, SEMIS:
Vargas qualifies for Minneapolis Final

Colombian qualifier Juan Vargas pulled off a great comeback against English seventh seed Anthony Graham, recovering from 2-1 down to reach the final.

Getting a local spot from tournament director Andre Maur, he was ecstatic playing in his first PSA tournament and reaching the final and hoping to go one further.

He will be playing Nick Sachvie who also is in his first PSA final after an easy passage against top seed and last years winner Arturo Salazar, who was unable to move in his semi final due to a hamstring problem and retired after a quick opening game.

Seeds suffer in Minneapolis quarters

While top seed Arturo Salazar maded it safely through to the semis with a straight-game win over Clinton Leuw, seeds suffered elsewhere in the draw.

Salazar now faces unseeded Canadian Nick Sachvie, who beat fourth seed Danish Atlas Khan, while in the bottom half of the draw Colombian qualifier Juan Vargos continued his run with victory over eighth seed Faraz Khan, and now meet England's Anthony Graham, who beat third-seeded American Chris Hanson in five games.
