13-Nov, Final:
Engy masters Latasha

After two marathon semi-finals it was always likely that Latasha Khan and Engy Kheirallah might suffer come the final.

In the event it was top seed Khan who was feeling the effects more, as Kheirallah, the second seed, cruised to a straight-games victory in just 28 minutes to claim her fourth career WISPA title.

Latasha Khan12-Nov, Semi-Finals:
Top Two Tested
in Atlanta

The top two seeds will contest the final of the Atlanta Masters in Georgia, but both were made to work hard to reach their expected place in the final.

Top seed Latasha Khan maintained hopes of a home victory as she prevailed in a see-saw five-game match against Becky Botwright, while Egypt's Engy Kheirallah came through a similar encounter with Mexico's third seeded Samantha Teran - both matches lasting 85 minutes and Kheirallah coming off court in need of treatment!

11-Nov, Quarters:

Top Four Through in Atlanta

The top four seeds will contest the semi-finals of the Westin Atlanta Masters, but only top seed Latasha Khan managed to win in straight games.

Khan cruised past nem PanAmerican champion Alana Miller and will face England's Becky Botwright in the semis after Botwright recovered from losing the first game 9/0 against Carolyn Russell.

In the bottom half Mexico's Samanatha Teran, still smarting after losing the PanAmerican final, edged past England's Georgina Stoker 10/9 in the fourth, but it was even tougher for her semi-final opponent Engy Kheirallah.

Second seed Kheirallah needed  92 minutes to overcome the challenge of Italy's Manuela Manetta. After a titanic struggle the Italian tired towards the end - hardly surprising given her 75-minute battle in the first round.

10-Nov, Round One:
Manetta Masters
Fernandes in Atlanta

The first round of the Westin Atlanta Masters saw a tremendous comeback from Italy's Manuela Manetta, recovering from 2-0 down to beat Guyana's Nicolette Fernandes in a 75-minute encounter.

Manetta now faces second seed Engy Kheirallah in the quarter-finals.

Two seeds fell on day one, with Georgina Stoker and Carolyn Russell upsetting sixth and eighth seeds Katie Patrick and Eman El Amir, respectively.
