Rodriguez wins BRB marathon - the Champion reports ...
 I
worked hard in Bogota with my father and with Sardar Ali Khan to win
this tournament. I've been feeling good, I played better every day
and today wanted to give my best physically and mentally.
In the first game I had 10-7 game ball could not finish it
but however won 13-11. In the second I was 8-4 up, made
some unforced errors and Borja made it 8-8, then I got 10-9 game
ball again but could not finish it ... lost 12-10. One-all.
The third was very long as well, we were 1-1, 2-2 until 8-8 ...
again 10-9 for me and Borja won it 12-10.
In the forth I knew I had to push and get every ball, Borja started
making unforced errors so I tried to keep going not to letting
him breath, I won it 11-1.
In the fifth, I was 5-1 down, again he made some errors, 5-5. 6-5 to
Borja, the 8-6 to me and suddenly he asked for thre minutes' injury
time ... he had his time, we start warming the ball again .... 7-8.
then 10-8 and I won the match with a error from him.
The toughest match this year for me. It has been a great victory,
very happy....my eighthth title and two consecutive (last month won
in Curitiba, Brasil) and the best thing was that I gave to my mom
the best present on 'Mother's day' !!
