08-Sep-07: Spectacular Opening Ceremony for Masters The 2007 Buenos Aires Open and Masters got under way with an opening ceremony hosted by ESPN presenter Ricardo Martinez Bridge. The Secretary of Sports Claudius Andrili, the Secretary of Tourism, Mr. Jorg Giberti, both of the government of the City, next to Daniel San Martin, creator and executive director of the tournament - the first of its type in the region - represented the three authorities that raised the event to give the welcome. The band of the Navy played the Argentine national anthem offering an emotional start to the event for the 250 guests.
