There
were two new BUSA champions in Birmingham as Scotland's Alan
Clyne beat top seed Joel Hinds to take the men's title, and it
was the second seed who took the women's title too as Sarah Bowles
beat Rachel Willmott in the women's final.
PAR to 11 scoring was trialled in all but the women's A event, and
while a full analysis hasn't been completed, it seems to have been a
success with the feared-for short matches not transpiring, while
most matches seemed to be more competitive than under previous
conditions.
