25-Mar, Final:
Badr closes out Clod title

Sweden's top seed Badr Adel Aziz won a marathon final against German Andre Haschker to claim the Clod Open title in Milan, recovering from 2/1 down to capture his third PSA title.

24-Mar, Semis:

Heartbreak for Luca

Local favourite Luca Mastrostefano narrowly failed in his bid to reach the final of the Clod Open in Milan.

The Italian took the first two games comfortably against Andre Hashcker, but the German fought back to take the third. Luca couldn't convert two match balls as he lost the fourth 13/11 and squandered a 9/5 lead in the fifth.

In the final Haschker meets top seed Badr Adel Aziz, after the Swede ended the qualifying run of Englishman Jonny Harford.

Back in Milan

After an absence of 9 years the PSA tour returns to Milan, with the Clod Open, a $3k satellite event.

ELocal favourite Luca Mastrostefano made it through to the semi-finals, after surviving a marathon first-round encounter with German's Dennis Drenjovski, followed by a more comfortable quarter-final against a second German opponent in Patrick Gaessler, and faces a third German, Andre Haschker, in the semi-finals.

Top seed Bard Adel Aziz is safely through to the semi-finals, where he will face qualifier Jonny Harford, the Swede's third successive English opponent!
