Under way in Prague

The Czech junior open 2009 got under way today in the Squash Bowling Centrum and Squashpoint clubs in Prague, with 170 players from 21 countries taking part.

The favourites in all the categories won their matches on the opening day.

Top seed in the Boys 19 category is Amr Khaled Khalifa from Egypt, he is strong favourite to win the tournament and should face second seed Sam van Brusselen from Belgium in the final.

In the Girls U19 Cigany Sierveld from the Netherlands is top seed, we hope Czech Anna Klimundova will do well to challenge her for the title.
