Gamal Triumphs In Tehran

Mazen Gamal became the third Egyptian in four years to lift the FAJR International title when he beat Kuwaiti Bader Al Hussaini in the final of the $3,000 PSA Tour Satellite squash event at the Enghlab Sports Complex in the Iran capital Tehran.

The 23-year-old top seed from Cairo only dropped one game on his way to his first Tour final.

Seventh seed Bader Al Hussaini made his breakthrough in the quarter-finals where he upset Pakistan's Wasim Shad, the No2 seed, in five games.

The 25-year-old underdog took a 2/1 lead in the final before Gamal battled back to win 11-9, 11-13, 5-11, 11-9, 11-8 after 69 minutes to claim the maiden Tour title of his career.
