Italian ASSI Championships 2007

A great edition of the Italian National
Championship ASSI 2007 took place in Milan on the 9 courts of Forum
Assago, the biggest squash club in Italy. The finals took place at
the Sporting Club Milano 3.
Davide Bianchetti was confirmed as champion for the ninth
time defeating his frequent opponent and friend Luca
Mastrostefano 11/7, 11/4, 11/2. It was third place for
Ginavito Allegretti and a welcome return for Josè Facchini
who came fourth.
In the other categories, Luca Azzali won the Silver,
Gianluca Giorgiani the Red, Lorenzo Parma the green and
Marco Zamprogno the Light category.
The ASSI 2007 Italian Championship were a fantastic success and
broke all records with more than 250 players taking part from over
30 clubs from all over Italy. |
