for Bianchetti
Home favourite Davide Bianchetti claimed his second Mega
Italia title with a straight-games win over Germany's Simon Rosner
in the final at the Il Leone shopping centre in Brescia.
"In my third PSA final today my opponent was just too strong," said
Rosner on his

11-Jul, Semis:
Top Two into Mega
Final
Top seeds Davide Bianchetti and
Simon Rosner will contest the final of the 12th Mega Italia
Open in Brescia.
Bianchetti overcame English qualifier Lewis Walters in
straight games and the 2006 champion will now appear in his fifth
Mega final.
Rosner took a little longer to reach his third PSA final,
beating Gilly Lane in four games, and will be hoping to claim his
first title.
10-Jul, Quarters:
Walters Waltzes
into Mega semis
English qualifier Lewis Walters burst into the semi-finals of the Il
Leone Shopping Center Mega Italia Open after upsetting fifth-seeded
Italian Luca Mastrostefano in the 12th staging of the $10,000 PSA
Tour squash event at Il Leone Shopping Center in Brescia, Italy.
The 20-year-old from Nottingham recovered from a game down to defeat
Mastrostefano in 47 minutes.
After overcoming local player Marco Vercesi in the first round,
Walters will meet his third Italian in the semi-finals when he takes
on favourite Davide Bianchetti, the 2006 champion.
Home hero Bianchetti, the world No31 from Brescia, despatched
sixth-seeded Dane Morten Morensen.
The other semi-final will be the US/German affair predicted by the
seedings. Germany's No2 seed Simon Rosner beat Denmark's Rasmus
Nielsen and will now face Gilly Lane, the fourth seed from the USA
who knocked out Englishman Tom Pashley.
