10-Jun-05:
Semi-Finals:
Thierry Lincou bat Renan Lavigne
11/6, 11/9, 5/11, 11/5
Grégory Gaultier bat Nick Matthew
11/9, 11/9, 10/12, 17/15

Hello
again Framboise ,
"Still
having a great time here in Reunion ! The squash was good. I
think the public really enjoyed the spectacle.
"The final is Thierry vs Greg. Thierry beat Renan in 4 and Greg
beat me in 4. The courts are so hot that the matches were pretty
long. Je suis très fatigué.
"I
think the body’s going to be stiff tomorrow as that’s the most
activity I’ve done for 3 weeks , except walking around the golf
course !!
"Off course, we didn’t get the chance to do the helicopter ride
this morning because it was too cloudy, but hopefully tomorrow.
"But on the plus side there was a problem with our flight home
so myself, Thierry and Renan are having to stay an extra couple
of days! Now there’s a tragedy!"

09-Jun-05:
Back to Réunion
It's almost the holiday season, but for some it's come early.
The Indian Ocean island of Réunion, home of world champion
Thierry Lincou, is the idyllic venue for an invitation event
featuring Lincou, Nick Matthew, Grégory Gaultier and
Renan Lavigne.
The tournament features lots of junior, local and 'veteran' events,
with the world stars taking time out for coaching clinics before
they get down to business in the main event.

Hi Framboise,
"Just a quick message to say myself, Renan and Greg are all
enjoying Reunion Island.
"Everyone has made us very welcome and the island is
beautiful. I’ve been told it’s winter here but the weather is
perfect and we have spent the days at the beach or visiting
some beautiful waterfalls and the nights sampling the local
beer!
"Tomorrow we are going to be given a tour of the island by
helicopter !
"Currently myself and Reunion’s very own World Champion Mr.
Lincou (who they are, rightly so, very proud of) are doing a
junior clinic in the south of the island.
"The juniors are very strong. Some of them play for France at
junior level, and Thierry tells me that one girl, Marjorie ,
is close to the senior national team !
The tournament, which I’m sure will be a lot of fun, starts
tomorrow when the four of us take on local players."
Regards from Reunion ...
