THE LAST SEMI FINAL
Wolverhampton await Tewkesbury

Following a nail biting match away at Tewkesbury on the 19th April the return looks set to be equally close. With a couple of possible injury worries the Wolverhampton team are by no means into the final although the 16-8 lead going into this match is useful to say the least.

The Tewkesbury side is still to be confirmed to me but Sue Wright indicated that it would be the same players who came so close last week.If so the line up on the night will be:

Anthony Ricketts (WR7) vs Ong Beng Hee (WR17)
Alex Gough (WR25) vs Rodney Durbach (WR33)
Scott Handley (WR70) vs Alistair Walker (WR41)
Mark Cairns vs Daryl Selby (WR113)
Shelley Kitchen (WR11) vs Jenny Wright.

Many interesting ties there. Can Mark reverse a 3-2 defeat by Daryl at Tewkesbury, more than possible. Can Scott stop a dominant Alistair in his tracks. Can Rodney get that one more game that would have given him victory. Can Jenny bring off what would be an amasing coup and can Beng Hee convert some of those 10-8 losses to winners?

Nothing is certain other than another great night of squash with some of the top exponents on court.
