30-Mar, Semis:
Malaysians progress in KL
It
was a good day for the hosts at the National Squash Centre in Kuala
Lumpur as three home players made it through to the finals.
Sixth seed Elvinn Keo came from 2/1 down to beat Hong Kong's
second seed Max Lee in the men's semi-finals, and will face
Australia's Zac Alexander in the final. The eighth seed
followed up yesterday's upset win over the top seed to beat Kiwi
Graeme Wilson in straight games.
Malaysia's
top junior Wee Wern Low beat number one seed Lisa Camilleri
(winner of last month's #1 and #2 satellites) in straight games in
the first women's semi-final, and a home winner was guaranteed when
Siti Munirah Jusoh, the second seed, recovered from two games
down against Maria Toor Pakay to reach the final.
