Kitchen & Krajcsak triumph in Oslo

It proved to be one match too far for French qualifier Romain Tenant, and the exertions of previous days caught up with him in the final. Second seed Mark Krajcsak claimed his first PSA title - the first for any Hungarian -  with a straight-games in in half an hour.

For women's top seed Shelley Kitchen it was a twelfth WISPA final, a seventh title, and a perfect 27th birthday present as she overcame Tegwen Malik in four games. It was a tight match with Malik playing well, but although she took the third she couldn't pick up points in the fourth.

Tenant qualifies for Oslo final,
Malik stops Swartz run ...

Qualifier Romain Tenant will meet Hungary's second seed Mark Krajcsak in the final of the Oslo Open after both won marathon semi-finals. Tenant, the world number 175, overcame fellow Frenchman Yann Perrin, the eighth seed, recovering from two games down to record a 71-minute win and reach his second career final. Krajcsak took marginally longer, needing 74 minutes to beat Czech Jan Koukal, clinching his place in the final with an 11/0 scoreline in the fifth.

Women's top seed Shelley Kitchen had an easy run to the final as Lauren Briggs retired mid-way through the second game, but fourth seed Tegwen Malik was taken the full distance by South African qualifier Tenille Swartz. Like Tenant, Malik found herself two games down before staging a comeback that took the Welsh champion into her fifth WISPA final.

30-Nov, Quarter-finals:
Swartz sails on in Oslo

South African sensation Tenille Swartz continued her sensational run in Oslo, following up her win over second seed Annelize Naude with victory over Elise Ng to reach the semi-finals. Swartz now takes on Welsh champion Tegwen Malik, while the other semi-final features top seed Shelley Kitchen and third seeded Lauren Briggs.

A French finalist is guaranteed in the men's event as Romain Tenant and Yann Perrin meet in the semi-finals.

29-Nov, Round one:
Crawford & Tenant stun seeds in Oslo ... Tenille takes out Naude ...

Stuart Crawford and Romain Tenant scored upset wins over the first and third seeds, respectively, in the men's opening round. Top seed Tom Richards didn't look 100% as he fell to Scotland's Crawford, while qualifier Tenant overcame Amr Ramzy Swelim in straight games.

In the women's event South Africa's Tenille Swartz continued from where she left off in Belfast, beating second seed Annelize Naude in four games.
