Top two in PSF Final

In their second PSA final meeting in Pakistan in a month, top seeds Aamir Atlas Khan and Mansoor Zaman will contest the climax of the President PSF Squash International after success in the semi-finals at the Jansher Khan Complex in Abbottabad.

Khan, the 16-year-old event favourite, beat third-seeded compatriot Farhan Mehboob in 34 minutes to chalk up his second appearance in a Tour final. Second seed Zaman was taken to four games by fellow Pakistani Yasir Butt, but beat the No7 seed in 45 minutes to reach his 17th PSA final.

The 27-year-old reclaimed his status as the highest-ranked Pakistani in this month's PSA World Rankings after beating Aamir Atlas Khan in last month's Governor NWFP International final in his home town of Peshawar.

Butt battles into President
PSF International semis

Seventh seed Yasir Butt raced into the last four of the President PSF International after upsetting fellow Pakistani Shamsul Islam Khan in just 17 minutes in the quarter-finals at the Jansher Khan Complex in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The 18-year-old from Lahore brushed aside his fourth-seeded opponent and will now face compatriot Mansoor Zaman for a place in the final. Second seed Zaman defeated unseeded opponent Safeer Ullah Khan.

The other semi-final will also be an all-Pakistan affair, between top seed Aamir Atlas Khan and third seed Farhan Mehboob. Khan, the 16-year-old nephew of the centre's patron Jansher Khan, dismissed sixth seed Bilal Zaman, while Mehboob, the Asian Junior Champion, fought back from two games down to overcome Majid Khan after the fifth seed retired injured at match-ball down in the decider.
