Betteridge & Breitling San Diego Classic 2007
27 June - 01 July, California, USA, $11k

01-Jul, Final:
Grainger takes Californian
double in San Diego

Natalie Grainger, winner of the EBG LA Open last weekend, made it a Californian double as she claimed the Betteridge & Breitling Classic in San Diego.

The final was a repeat of last week, but where at the LAAC world junior champion Raneem El Weleily pushed the newly-registered US citizen to a decider, here Grainger completed the task in a quick three games.

As well as the winners' cheque, Grainger takes home a Breitling watch valued at $4,500.

Grainger on track in San Diego

Natalie Grainger remains on course for a second title in a week in California. Winner of the EBG LA Open last weekend, the newly-registered US citizen has reached the final for the loss of just five points.

Grainger will face world junior champion Raneem El Weleily in the final, a repeat of last week's climax  in Los Angeles, after both scored repeat straight-game wins over Lauren Briggs and Manuela Manetta, respectively.

As well as the winners cheque, the pair will be fighting it out for a Breitling watch valued at $4500.
