The world number 25 beat fellow kiwi Louise Crome in straight games in the final. Leevey claimed the first game before fighting back from game ball down in the second to win 10-8. The top seed then asserted her dominance to win the third and final game to claim the match 9-3 10-8 9-2.

The victory secures more valuable WISPA world ranking points for New Zealand national champion Leevey, who just last week toppled Egyptian world number eight Omneya Abdel Kawy in the first round of the Qatar Airways Challenge in Doha.
