Rodriguez and Serafina take
South American titles
It was a home victory in the men's event of the South American
Championships in Bucaramanga, Colombia, as top seed Miguel Angel
Rodriguez won an all-Colombian final against Bernardo Samper.
No such luck in the women's though, as Brazil's Thaisa Serafini
denied a Colombian double by beating top seed Silvia Angulo in the
final.
There was double joy for Thaisa as she led the Brazilian team to
gold in the women's team event too.
