Squash on TV

#4: Kasey Brown                                FULL WISPA PROFILE

Who lit your squash spark? It was my mum who started me off as she worked at the local squash centre. I used to go with her at weekends and hit the balls for hours.
Always squash, or could you have competed in another sport? I had to choose between squash and representative hockey but there really was no question as to what I would choose.
What do you hate most about training? Ice baths! Sitting in a bath of ice is not my idea of fun.
The best thing about being an international player? I don't have to work in an office as I don't think I could handle a 9 to 5 job.
Your favourite place to play events? I haven't found it yet as I vote for a tournament in Hawaii!
Filling in time before matches? Hitting in the morning then listening to music or attempting to do some of my uni course (which happens rarely) is my normal routine before I play.
Squash superstitions? I used to have a lucky champagne cork but I lost it. Now I don't really have any.
The worst thing about travelling? Waiting around in airports is definitely the worst part for me.
Your travelling entertainment provider? My iPod and computer. I cannot live without either of them.

Pizza or pasta? Pasta
Tea or coffee? Tea
Fruit or chocolate? I think fruit dipped in chocolate, then you get the best of both worlds!
Just finished reading? Not a book but Who magazine to catch up on the celebrity gossip!
The album you listen to most? At the moment All-American Rejects and Snow Patrol.
How many texts sent each day? Very few as I am a little retarded when it comes to technology.
Sporting event you would most like to go to? World Aerobics Championships
Dinner with any sports person past or present? Kostya Tszyu (an Australian boxer called The Thunder from Down Under)
Glass half full or half empty? I am an optimist by nature so half full.
Your life so far, one thing you would change? I would have learnt to play the drums as my dad is a music teacher. Unfortunately he hasn't passed on any musical talent!
Plans for the future? I plan to climb Mt. Aspiring in New Zealand then maybe Everest.
