New inflatable squash court

Germany’s Phillip Romm has created a new mobile solution for squash with the AirSquash Court, a four-wall squash court with inflatable frame and extra layers on the inside wall, which are tensioned and form a flat surface.

The AirSquash Court can be placed on any flat and solid surface and fits into every estate car boot. The construction of the court takes less than five minutes and can be handled by two people.

A specially designed Softball is used in order to achieve good rebound results off the front and side walls.

IN THE UK IN JULY

Romm, an active member of the German squash scene, is planning a tour to the UK in July to promote his new initiative to the governing bodies PSA, WSF and WISPA.

He will also be presenting the court to clubs and local and regional organistations, so if you want to see and test the court don't hesitate to contact AirSquash.

Constructing the court

AirSquash softball

The soft ball has a diameter of 6.3cm and an optimal bouncing ability.

Though it is designed especially for the AirSquash Court the soft ball is suitable for practice on the “real court”.

It is very light and allows free flowing squash already on kids and beginner level. The risk of injuries drops down to zero with the use of the AirSquash soft ball.

Trying it out

More Information

The AirSquash Court offers an inflatable four-wall frame with around 65% of the original court dimensions
  • 6 meters length (inside)
  • 4 meters width (inside)
  • 3 meters height (front wall)
  • 2.20 meters height (back wall) (original height)

and three highly tensioned layers on the inside front and side walls.

There is no floor integrated, so you make use of the subsurface you put the court on. Gym floors may provide perfect conditions but any surface that is clean and even proves suitable.

A constantly blowing air fan supplies the court with the necessary pressure. Squash on the AirSquash Court is fun and easy.

Design your own

The AirSquash Court can be fabricated in practically any colour scheme and design.

There are various ways of how to place advertisement of the court. Any sort of design can be printed digitally directly onto the inside layers. Logos or lettering can be painted or airbrushed onto the inflatable frame. Replaceable banners can be attached to any area of the court.

Even the AirSquash soft ball can be customer designed and used as a promotional tool.
