Berkhamsted PSA Closed Satellite 2011
09-10 July, Berkhamsted
Gaskin outlasts Fuller in Berkhamsted
Adam Fuller reports

Arthur Gaskin is Berkhamsted’s first PSA champion, outlasting Chris Fuller in the final 3/2.

In my last little report I mentioned Rob was involved in some Marathon matches but that was nothing compared to Arthur today who spent 1hr 30mins against Nathan Lake in the semis before taking an incredible 1hr 45mins against Chris Fuller.

The club were treated to fantastic squash but were almost exhausted as the players by the end of the match.

A big well done to all the players that took part and congratulations to Arthur and Chris for a wonderful final. We look forward to seeing you next season for anther PSA event as the club look to make this an annual event

Bouncing at Berkhamsted
Adam Fuller reports

It has been a great weekend of squash so far with the local members enjoying some top squash at their club.

There have been some really tough matches and certainly on Saturday Rob Dowder seemed to be involved in most of them with a marathon game with Adam Auckland who may I add is lightning quick! This was followed by another five setter with the clubs own head coach Adam Fuller.

Unfortunately for the locals, Rob got his revenge on Adam from the Nationals earlier this year. The other notable battle was between Rueben Philips and Neil Baker but Rueben managed to push through giving him a chance against the events no.1 seed Chris Fuller (no relation to Adam).

Chris and Nathan Lake have shown impressive form throughout the tournament but one still to watch out for has to be Arthur Gaskin who looks very capable of making an upset.
