Rosner Rallies To
Black Sea Success

Germany's second seed Simon Rosner thwarted favourite Chris Ryder's hopes of celebrating his 29th birthday with title success in the first PSA event to be held in Ukraine when he beat the Englishman in straight games in the final at the Fitness Club Forma in Odessa.

Rosner, the world No45 from Paderborn, was in control throughout the 41-minute match, upsetting the world No37 from Wolverhampton 11-6, 11-5, 11-4 to record the second PSA title triumph of his career.

The 21-year-old German will now head to the English club where Ryder was the Squash Professional to compete in the Wolverhampton Open. Unseeded, Rosner will take on England's No6 seed Jonathan Kemp in the opening round of the $20k Wolverhampton Open from 03-06 September.
