 Beautiful
beaches and warm clear Caribbean waters will be the backdrop
for the Cedrus Investments Cayman Islands Junior Squash
Open 2011.
Junior squash players of all levels are invited to
participate in the event in early January in the Cayman
Islands. Cayman is just an hour from Miami, and is famous
for being one of the most beautiful, cleanest and safest
islands in the Caribbean.
Tournament Director Dan Kneipp said:
 "We've
got world class squash facilities and one of the nicest
destinations in the world. In early January most of our
northern neighbours will be waist-deep in snow. We'll have
average temperatures of around 78 (26C) and some of the
world's most beautiful beaches.
 "Like
all of the tournaments we do we'll include a boat trip out
to Stingray City and an afterparty on the beach. Early
January is obviously important for other junior tournaments,
but we need to have a tournament for this part of the world.
"We also think it's a pretty appealing destinations for
families to come for a squash holiday.

Maximum draw size will be 32, and the event will be a
Mondrad format with all positions played out.
FACILITIES
Cayman has 7 international squash courts in an air
conditioned modern club. The facilities were used to host
the past two Cayman Opens, with the world's top players
participating. Cayman has an extensive junior squash
programme and is currently ranked #1 in the Caribbean for
junior men.
