IT'S PAKISTAN OVER EGYPT!
Alaaeldeen Allouba reports

Muhamad Saqib Yousaf from Pakistan managed to win the Doha Bank PSA squash Challenger 3-1 after 54 minutes of play.

The first two games both players exchanged points up to 8-8 in the first and 9-9 in the second but Muhamad was able to finish both games to his favour.

In the third game the same scenario was repeated but Ahmad was able this time to clinch the game with a narrow difference to win it 11-9.

In the fourth game Ahmad had three game balls when he led 10-7 but with some solid returns and well structured rallies Muhamad was able to find his way back into the match and win it 13-11.

In te first match Ahmed Hawas from Egypt beat Abdulla Al-Tamimi from Qatar 3-1 after 41 minutes of play. Abdulla led 10-7 in the fourth game and had three game points that were saved by Ahmed before he managed to win 14-12.

A good match to watch with plenty of skillful play from both players and well structured rallies.

The second match saw Alejandro Garbi take a 2-0 lead when everyone in the crowd thought this will be over soon.

The first two games lasted only 23 minutes. Muhamad Yousaf had something to say and show it was not over yet, as he managed to win the following 3 games and secure his place in tonight's final.

NO SEEDS LEFT!

Well, that's the way to sort out the seeding... Out the window it went, not one is left in the semis, with Abdullah Al Tamini, from Qatar, beating Ahmed Abdel Fattah from Egypt, who took out Anthony Graham this morning in 94m.

Fattah was probably a bit tired in the evening, but still fought very hard, to only bow to Al Tamini 12/10 in the 4th. A great result for Qatar, as Abdullah is a strong coming up player, training very hard for a few years now.
