Aug 2009:
Peter Nicol heads inaugural
Eventis Summer Camp
Eventis Sports are delighted to announce that squash great Peter Nicol MBE is head coach at the Eventis Summer Camp at Surrey Health & Racquets Club this week.

Taking place from 3rd-6th August 2009, the four day camp will give the UK’s future stars the chance to learn from one the greatest players ever to play the game. Areas covered will include technique, movement, fitness and understanding the game, as well as the opportunity to simply spend time with Nicol.

Unlike many camps that have a headline star who actually spends very little time actually in contact with those attending, Nicol is committed to overseeing the activity each day and having as much interaction as possible.

“I have always enjoyed working with players, both young and old, and helping them to understand ways to improve their game. This will give me the opportunity to get on court through the course of four days and hopefully make some really positive changes.”

Eventis Director Tim Garner also points our “The Eventis Summer Camp is the natural progression from a number of clinics that that Peter has done around the world in recent years, and comes off the back of launching, in association with Event Engine, the Nicol Champions Academy in the USA.”

“The Surrey Health & Racquets Club is stunning club and the four glass backs make it the ideal venue for this type of venture and, with the added support of squash director Pete Smith, was the obvious choice.”

The August dates are now full, but for more details & to register for information on future camps & clinics contact Tim Garner on Camps@Eventis-Sports.com
