Kean Open 2009
19-21 Nov, Den Haag, Netherlands, $6k

Yesterday morning Dylan Bennett reached the final of the Kean Open 2009. De 25 year old squash player from Eindhoven, Netherlands shut the way for Stuart Crawford from Scotland in the semi finals of the PSA Super Satelliet tournament in four games. Results 11-7, 13-11, 5-11, 11-3 in advance of the 1st placed in Delft

In the final of the KEAN Open 2009 Bennett had to play yesterday afternoon against the Australiër Steve Finitsis. Number three of tournaments ranking and last years finalist was just a little stronger then his opponent Piedro Schweertman.

The 7th ranked Dutchmen, earlier this tournament responsible for eliminating the Irishman John Rooney, didn’t achieve this time to claim the import points : 9-11, 3-11, 11-9, 9-11.

It was Bennett’s 10th time PSA World Tour final.
From the nine preface finals, he only won two. June this year he claimed the title in the Scandinavian Open, and in 2005 he won the Crocodile Cup in Hong Kong.

In the final of the PSA Super Satelliet tournament in Delft the First ranked Dutchmen had to fight in a fully loaded Squash Delft Steve Finitsis.

From the start of this duel it was Bennet who put the long Australian under pressure and therefore the Australian could not get a grip on initiative of his own.

After three games spectacular squash Bennett did beat Finitsis, to get the second winner of a Kean Open tournament.
