Waller wins All-European Final in Paraguay
Esteban Casarino reports

The powerful English Adrian Waller won the final against the “floating Czeck” last Saturday in Asunción.

The match had patches of dominance on both sides. The tactic of both was very clear at the beginning, Koukal trying to move Waller side to side and Waller more into the straight pattern and counterattacking.

The respect both players showed for the opponent was also very clear, specially when they both where volleying crosscourt lobs and no one seemed to try the first short volley. At the end the better length of Waller prevailed, taking as many winners as Koukal at the front but more points at the back corners.

As a great competitor he is the Czech pulled back a few points before succumbing 11/6 in the second straight final both players disputed in two weeks.
