Team Nam!

The MWT has been brilliant so far: the facilities, the people, the quality food....that's where one would generally find the Nam-boys...on the court or at the buffet! It is a privilege to be here and an honour to represent Namibia, as well as to literally meet the entire squash world in one event. TRUSTCO in Namibia made it possible for this awesome, young Namibian team to be here and we are sure to have players represent at future MWT events. I'm having a helluva time! - Marco Becker

It is a great learning experience and a privilege to see world class squash and it has given me massive amounts of motivation to get onto the squash court more often and to train harder. The event is run brilliantly and I am thus far enjoying every second of it! - Norbert Doergeloh

It is a real great privlige to be able to take part in this event and it would not be possible without the sponsorship of Trunco group international.
my thoughts of the tournament thus far are...

it is a exciting experience being able to take part in a event that have the top 10 players taking part in it. coming from a country that has just started with the international circuit it is a great thing to be able to see how the rest of the world plays the same game. The tournament started off in a style that I have never witnessed before it was amazing to be apart of.

playing in our first world champs of course the nerves are high but is great fun to watch and learn from players and our opponents. we are here to see how the rest of the world competes at this level and how we as a team and a nation can better the level of squash. being able to play alongside the english and the egyptians is a wonderful feeling. knowing that they are the best 2 teams in the world and now we are able to watch them live and not over the tv.

The games are tough but are enjoyable at the same time.. playing against players that are exposed to much higher standards than Namibia we get to see what kind of natural skill we have.. and to be honest we have been able to compete with he players and give them a run for there money. We as a team have a great spirit and respect for the other players. I myself have personally noticed that squash world wide is a very friendly sport players communicate well with one another and have great relations aliround.
