Atlanta Open 2012
22-27 Jan, Atlanta, $10k

27-Jan, Final:
Meguid masters Wagih in Atlanta

Omar Meguid won the 2013 Atlanta Open by beating fellow team mate Andrew Waigh in three games 11/8, 11/9, 11/5 in 55 min.

Omar showed no effects of tiredness from his 100 min match the previous day against Shawn Delierre. The first 2 games were close but in the third Omar raced to a 9-5 lead when Omar collided in the back of Andrew to give him an injury time out.

Waigh never recovered and lost the game 11-5 to give Omar his first Atlanta Open title.

This is the first tournament of the 2013 Life Time Grand Prix Tour and the next event is the Houston Open in March followed by the Vegas Open in May.

The top 16 players at the end of the year will qualify to the Grand Prix Finals.
