Saskatoon Boast 2012
20-25 Nov, Saskatoon, Canada, $10k
Grayson wins final marathon in Saskatoon
Brad Birnie reports

The crowd was ecstatic to witness a fantastic five-game final match in which Campbell Grayson put on a demonstration of determination and will by earning the victory over defending-champion Zac Alexander in five games.

Obviously gassed after his last two extremely long matches, Grayson took plenty of time between rallies, retrieved many winners from Alexander and played immaculate length and numerous precise short shots at the right moments.

22-Nov, Qualifying Finals:

Eric Galvez (Mex) 3-0 Johan Bouquet (Fra)                         11/4, 11/4, 11/1 (35m)
2006 Boast Champion Galvez dominated this one from the start. With Bouquet hitting a little looser, Galvez took advantage.

Scott Arnold (Aus) 3-1 Robert Downer (Eng)              6/11, 11/3, 11/7, 11/6 (47m)
After Downer came out guns a blazin' to win game 1, Arnold's steady, solid play wore Downer down and he lost patience.

Ben Coleman (Eng) 3-0 Thomas Brinkman (Can)                11/9, 11/3, 11/9 (37m)
Very tight first game, then there became a huge difference in Brinkman not able to keep up with the attacking, mistake-free pace of Coleman in game 2. Very close third game could have gone either way.

Farhan Zaman (Pak) 3-1 Steve London (Eng)            8/11, 11/5, 11/6, 11/4 (41m)
London edged Zaman in game 1 with better length. Zaman then began a barrage of outstanding drops that took its toll on London who tired and gradually lost the edge he had in game 1.

21 Nov, Qualifying Round One:

Eric Galvez (Mex) 3-0 Adrian Dudzicki (Can)                            11/5, 11/4, 11/5
Johan Bouquet (Fra) 3-2 David Letourneau (Can)  12/10, 5/11, 11/6, 5/11, 11/8

Robert Downer (Eng) 3-0 Geoffrey Demont (Fra)                   13/11, 11/9, 12/10
Scott Arnold (Aus) 3-0 Michael Russell (Can)                            11/2, 11/8, 11/4

Thomas Brinkman (Can) 3-0 Steve Johnson (Can)                   11/4, 11/4, 11/2
Ben Coleman (Eng) 3-0 Daryl Foreman (Can)                            11/2, 11/2, 11/1

Steve London (Eng) 3-1 Fred Reid (Can)                          11/4, 7/11, 11/7, 11/5
Farhan Zaman (Pak) 3-1 Michael McCue (Can)              8/11, 11/6, 13/11, 12/10
